The ingredients needed to make Tomato Soup:
  1. Take 500 gm Tomatoes
  2. Prepare 1 Onion finely chopped small one
  3. Get 1 tsp Black Pepper powder
  4. Take 2 Garlic cloves minced
  5. Prepare 1 tsp Ginger grated
  6. Get 2 tbsp Butter
  7. Make ready 1 tsp Butter for roasting Bread croutons
  8. Take 1 tsp Salt or to taste
  9. Take 2-3 tbsp Fresh Cream for topping
Instructions to make Tomato Soup:
  1. Heat Butter in a large saucepan. Add Ginger and Garlic both. Fry for a minute and now add Tomatoes and chopped Onion with some Salt. Saute until they are translucent with 1 cup of water. Allow it to cool down a bit before blending to a smooth puree.
  2. Strain this puree in a bowl. Boil it for 2-3 minutes on a low heat. Take it off the heat now and add more of Butter as per your family's liking. Adjust Salt at this stage. Mix well and it's all ready to be served hot. Garnish with fried Bread Croutons and a dollop of Fresh Cream at the time of serving.
